Château de Bois-Brinçon Pineau d'Aunis 'Garance'

Founded in 1219, this domaine has some of the oldest vines in the Loire, at 125 years old.  Xavier Cailleau is a 5th generation winemaker, working both organically and biodynamically with very minimal yields. This Pineau d’Aunis is sourced from a single acre plot of 96 year old vines planted over sandstone and tuffeau, hand harvested, destemmed and macerated for 8 days, then aged for 10 months in stainless tanks.
