Cigliano di Sopra Chianti Classico Vigneto Branca Riserva 2022

Cigliano Di Sopra is a relative newcomer in Chianti Classico, with seven hectares of mostly Sangiovese. Winemakers Maddelena Fucile (whose family vines form the basis of the domaine) and Matteo Vaccari studied under Sashi Moorman and Raj Parr at California’s Domaine de la Cote, before returning to Tuscany for their first vintage in 2018.

The 2022 ‘Vigneta Branco’ Riserva comes from a single parcel planted in 1972, fermented with 100% whole clusters.
