Fratelli Alessandria Barolo San Lorenzo di Verduno 2020

San Lorenzo is a hill in Verduno next to that of Monvigliero, with the same type of soil, but slightly less elevated and not quite so steep. Cuvaison lasts up to 30 days, followed by about three years large oak casks before reassembly in tank. The San Lorenzo lieu dit sits on a hill very close to the River Tanaro, which plays a very important role in terms of microclimate. Alessandria’s vines enjoy southerly exposure at an altitude of between 240 and 260 metres.
