Martha Stoumen Vermentino 'Venturi Vineyard' 2024

After studies in viticulture and enology at UC Davis, and internships at COS in Sicily and Broc in California, Stoumen began making her own wines, relying on dry farming and low intervention techniques. From the winemaker: Harvested whole cluster and gently foot-tread before pressing and aged on fine lees in a 1200L stoneware jarre for 6 months. Unfined and filtered for stability. Dry-farmed and certified organic at Venturi Vineyard, Mendocino County.
