Wife and husband team Erica Landon and Ken Pahlow launched Walter Scott Wines in 2008 out of Patricia Green Cellars in the Willamette Valley, bottling their first chardonnay in 2011. Named partly for that first cellar supporter, La Combe Verte (The Green Valley) is a blend from several vineyards, fermented spontaneously and is permitted full malolactic conversion, aging for 10 months in 350 and 500 liter barrels.
